When using Wirecast to play back many MP4 files, video playback will be very slow, stuttery or jumpy. This is a bug in wirecast and/or Quicktime. This happens most commonly under Windows. Playback of wmv files is generally smooth under Windows. Solution:
re-encode videos used by wirecast to h.264 baseline.
